Shopee consistently ranks as the leading eCommerce marketplace in Southeast Asia based on monthly visits. Starting July 1, 2024, Shopee Philippines has updated its seller fees, which will now be charged after each order is completed.
These fees support platform improvements, smoother payment processing, and exclusive seller support programs. Here’s a quick guide to each seller fee type and an example for step-by-step income calculation:
The Shopee Seller Fees include:
1. Shopee Seller Commission Fee
Shopee charges a Seller Commission Fee for two types of sellers in the Philippines: Shopee Marketplace Seller and Shopee Mall Seller.
Each type has a different fee structure and commission rate:
| Shopee Seller Commission Fee Rates Effective July 1, 2024 (VAT-inclusive) | |||
| Shopee Marketplace Seller | Shopee Mall Seller | ||
| 7.24%-8.74% | 6.12%-9.96% | ||
New Marketplace sellers on Shopee Philippines can benefit from a 0% commission for their first six months after listing their first product. Standard commission fees apply afterward, varying by product category and optional programs such as Coins Cashback.
• Enjoy a 1% discount on commission fee.
• Join the Free Shipping Special Program for 2.24% discount.
In addition, sellers also benefit from:
- Increase orders as buyers receive Shopee-sponsored free shipping vouchers with lower minimum spend vs non-FSS sellers.

2. Higher shop visibility through FSS microsite and labels on all your products page.

3. Additional in-app exposures during campaigns and chance to be included in Flash Sales.

2. Shopee Seller Transaction Fee
Seller Transaction Fee is a handling fee charged for each successful order processed through Shopee’s payment service. As of January 1, 2024, Shopee charges 2.24% on the item’s price after deducting any seller-sponsored discounts but before applying any Shopee rebates (item rebates, discount vouchers and Shopee coins).
However, this transaction fee is waived in specific cases where the order is ultimately not completed, including:
- Order Canceled by Buyer
- Order Canceled by Seller
- Order Auto-Canceled by System
- Refunded or Returned Orders
3. Shopee Seller Service Fee
For sellers enrolled in these programs, service fees are calculated as a percentage of the net Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) after an order is completed.
The rates are as below:
- Coins Cashback (CCB): 3.36%, capped ₱100 per item
- Free Shipping Special (FSS): 5.6%
- Mega Discount Voucher (MDV): 4.0%, capped ₱200 per item
